Adoption Fundraiser!

As I'm sure you can imagine.. having nine pregnancies in 7 years has exhausted us financially.
We donated everything we had for Sophia, minus a few special items, because it was so hard to process. Obviously, with adopting, we are not only paying for the process.. but that baby is still going to need a crib, carseat, clothing... everything a baby needs. Getting ready for a baby is always expensive.. so we are hoping that with the help of friends and family, we can lighten the burden on our already burdened hearts.

We've decided to do a "Tag the Crib" Fundraiser! Of course, we will accept any donations and prayers, but this is very special to us.

We are buying a white crib for our new baby. I want this baby to know how loved they are... how wanted from even before we knew they were coming home. With every $50 donation, we will write the name of the donator, or the family name. This crib will turn into their bed as they grow.. so they will always know how loved they are! For $100, we will send you a piece of fabric to write your name on, or decorate as you'd like. It will become a part of a very special quilt. If you'd rather pick your own fabric, I'll send you the colors we will be using, and you can have at it! Again, it's another thing to remind our precious daughter how loved and wanted she is!

If you feel so led, please follow the link below to donate. Financial donations are not the only form we need. Prayers, support, and if you have a direct sales business or a way to donate, we would LOVE to hear from you! You can email me at KristinaMSeymour@gmail.com

Names... for our Future.

Many of you know our daughter's name is Sophia Marilyn. If you don't, it is! If you care to, you can google Sophia Marilyn Seymour, and her memorial video will pop up on youtube, as well as some of our journey from TTC.

Names has been a huge vessel of hope for us, so I thought I'd share some of what we've thought off. I will not choose a name until we know the baby we are adopting, so please know there will be no huge reveal until then! If you have name ideas, please share! I promise I have probably missed some great ones!

The Seymours are Adopting!: It takes a village

Once upon a time, a boy in the Army, and a single mom in College, met for the first time.
It was the Cliché love at first sight. It exists, love at first sight.

After six years together, and three years of wedded bliss, they realized that their family of four was still missing something. A baby girl.

Years of trying to make this happen biologically took a toll. They held their only biological daughter, who passed away from a concealed placental abruption at 38 weeks, and wondered what their future held.

Seven losses, including ectopic pregnancies that partially ruptured her left tube, and the loss of their daughter, set in the premise that it was completely unsafe for them to continue their journey of growing their family biologically. After all, She was adopted. Their family had a beautiful history with adoption. Why not add that into their family tapestry?

Join this family as they face the struggle of balancing a new home, finances, homeschooling, military life, and the lengthy process of adoption.

It takes a village to raise a child. Will you join this village?
